What to Expect
We require an On The Job "working interview." It is an entire day's work to determine your pay rate. The working interview also lets the potential employee see if our company is a good fit for you before committing. The workweek schedule varies by season. In summer, the crew leaves the shop as early as 5:30 am, as some locations take 30 min to get to the first job. Commercial properties can start as early as 6 am, and Residential properties as early as 7 am. We work until all the day's jobs are complete or until dark, whichever happens first. We try not to work weekends, but a Saturday workday will be required if it rains during the work week and we need to catch up. Employees must bring lunch, snacks, and plenty of fluids for an entire day's work. We prefer Khaki pants and steel-toed boots; however, whatever you have will be acceptable until payday. We DO NOT recommend shorts at all. If you are sensitive to the sun, please bring sunscreen and a hat. We will provide you with a work shirt.
